The Ridgid 1/2-inch VRS Hammer Drill features a heavy-duty 1/2-inch keyed chuck and all-metal design for durability and positive bit retention; a durable 7.5 amp motor with hardened steel gears for long life; automatic clutch to reduce the stress load on motor and gearing, and a dual speed/torque gearbox that allows you to set the drilling speed to match the application. An ergonomic soft grip handle also provides comfort and decreased vibration, while the 360 auxiliary handle assembly with depth-stop rod provides precise control of drilling depth. The hammer drill also includes a heavy-duty contractor bag.
